Collaborative Inquiries

Our current research question:

How might creative approaches and art media serve as a way for children to enhance and express their relationship with their ecological community?

For the past three years, we have been collaborating with children and educators….supporting them in designing inquiry pathways based on the questions that children are posing in relation to the land. Children document what they are noticing, and thinking using art media such as charcoal, graphite, watercolour and clay.

Book Studies

Sophie Anne Edwards has been guiding us through a study of her books: The Art of Land-Based Learning (vol 1&2). These online sessions include opportunities for educators to engage with art media such as clay, charcoal, natural dyes and watercolour paints.
